2A. Scope and Limitations of Personalized Support
While clients may request personalized support within the scope of the service, Hanité Inc. and its consultants reserve full discretion to determine whether a requested service is appropriate, lawful, and within the ordinary scope of practice. Specifically:
- Hanité Inc. will not provide services that are illegal, unethical, unsafe, or contrary to applicable laws or regulations.
- Hanité Inc. will not provide services that fall outside the reasonable professional capacity, expertise, or resources of the company or its consultants.
- Requests that would require specialized licensing, accreditation, or authority (e.g., immigration consulting, legal advice, medical or mental health services, or recruitment agency functions) are expressly excluded.
- Hanité Inc. may decline, modify, or terminate any personalized request that, in its sole judgment, exceeds these boundaries.
Clients acknowledge that personalization of services is subject to these limitations and agree that Hanité Inc. shall not be liable for declining or refusing requests that fall outside the permitted scope.
3. Service‑Specific Terms
Each service offered by Hanité Inc. may have its own service‑specific Terms & Conditions. Clients — whether individuals, organizations, or government entities — must review and agree to the specific Terms & Conditions applicable to the service they choose to receive.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Master Terms and the service‑specific Terms, the service‑specific Terms shall prevail with respect to that service.
4. Eligibility
Services are available to individuals aged 18 and over, and to organizations and government entities legally able to contract.
By booking, you confirm that you are seeking non‑clinical, non‑legal, and non‑immigration support only.
4A. First Meeting (Free Introductory Session)
Before booking any paid service, all individual clients are entitled to a complimentary 15‑minute introductory session (“First Meeting”). The purpose of this session is to ensure that the client’s needs are clearly understood and to confirm that the requested service is not reasonably available to them for free through publicly funded or community programs.
4B. Client Acknowledgement of Free Services
- They have been informed of the availability of free or publicly funded services that may meet their needs.
- They have, to the best of their ability, sought such services within their reach.
- They are choosing to proceed with Hanité Inc.’s paid services for their own reasons, at their sole discretion, and after discussion during the First Meeting.
- Hanité Inc. does not compel clients to purchase services and respects the client’s decision to proceed voluntarily.
5. Confidentiality
Information shared in sessions will be treated as confidential and not disclosed without your consent, except:
- When required by law

8. Free and Alternative Services
Client Rights: Clients are encouraged to explore free or publicly funded services that may meet their needs. Hanité Inc. respects and supports each client’s right to choose such alternatives instead of, or in addition to, our paid services.
Hanité’s Commitment: Where reasonably possible, we may inform or redirect clients to free or publicly funded services that could be relevant to their situation.

Hanité Inc. reserves the right to decline requests for subsequent sessions if, in our professional judgment, they are not necessary or beneficial.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Alberta shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
